Niagara's winters are brisk and chilly, and snow and ice can continue into the month of March. A snowstorm is still a possibility even in mid April. Winter highs average in the upper 30s, with lows in the teens. Spring highs reach the 70s and lows cool into the 30s. Daytime summer highs are capable of reaching 80 degrees, but be prepared with a jacket when evening lows dip into the lower 50s and cool breezes come in off Lakes Ontario and Erie. Fall daytime highs can reach 60 degrees, but temps cool in the evening to the low 20s.
